FAQs

General

1. Why “Twenty Five Doors”?

Our name is a nod to the origin of the business. When we were researching and developing the business, we listed our favourite cellar doors with the intention of seeking their feedback on developing personalised itineraries. The first list just happened to have twenty five cellars doors and the idea stuck…

2. Do you only have 25 wineries on the platform or per region?

No. By using Twenty Five Doors, you can connect to the majority of cellar doors in all regions included on the platform.

Wine Club

3. How do wineries become Wine Partners to sell through the wine club?

It’s invite-only to sell through the Wine Club and there are currently two rules: they must be independent and have a cellar door. The starting wineries have been selected because they understand that wine is more than good science in a bottle; they understand that wine is about the experience, and that ultimately, its personal. There’s no right or wrong way.

4. How much is postage?

Postage is free to most parts of Australia. The (unfortunate) expections are remote parts of WA, NT and far north Qld. If you have any concerns or questions about this, or want to check your address, contact us.

5. What are your delivery times?

Each individual winery uses their own designated couriers and the wine comes directly from each winery. Delivery times vary, but you should receive your wine purchase no later than the 27th of each month. If you have not received your wine by the 27th, please contact us.

Tourism Platform

6. What happens if I don’t use all my passes?

On the anniversary of your membership all unused passes carry over to the next year. You don’t lose the passes.

Membership

7. Why do you charge to be a member?

If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys, right? And we all know there’s no such thing as a free lunch! In today’s world there really isn’t anything of true value that is free. By being a paid member, you’re getting real value, and so too are the wineries. Membership shows you respect the time and effort wineries put into creating that thing (great wine) you love so much. It also means that this thing (the wine!), will continue to exist.

8. What do you mean by ‘fixed annual membership’?

Fixed annual membership means that your membership price will never change. So long as you stay a member, your annual price is locked. Who knows what will happen to membership prices in the future? If it is like everything else, they will go up. For Second Door members, you never have to worry about that.

9. What is First and Second Door membership?

First and Second Doors memberships are special, pre-release memberships that include more than 3 times the normal membership value. There are only 125 First Door Angel memberships and 2500 Second Door memberships. They represent an incredible opportunity for a lifetime of premium and personal wine experiences, and quite frankly, we think you’re crazy if you don’t jump on board while they are still available.
